And the boy grew, and she brought him to the daughter of Pharaoh. And he became a son to her, and she called his name Moses, and said, Because I drew him out of the water.

And he said to his daughters, And where is he? Why then have you left the man? Call him, and let him eat bread.

And Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses, because of the Cushite woman whom he had taken. For he had taken a Cushite woman.

“And Moses fled” at this word. “And he became an alien in the land of Midian,” where he fathered two sons. Exodus 2:15- 22

But godliness with contentment is great gain.
