And Jethro, the father-in-law of Moses, took a burnt offering and sacrifices to God. And Aaron and all the elders of Israel came to eat bread before God with Moses’ father- in-law.

And it happened on the next day that Moses sat to judge the people. And the people stood beside Moses from the morning until the evening.

And the priest of Midian had seven daughters. And they came and drew and filled the troughs to water their father’s flocks.

And he said to his daughters, And where is he? Why then have you left the man? Call him, and let him eat bread.

You shall make an altar of earth for Me, and you shall sacrifice your burnt offerings and your peace offerings on it, your sheep and your cattle. In every place in which I cause My name to be remembered, I will come to you and will bless you.

And He did not stretch out His hand to the chiefs of the sons of Israel. And they saw God, and they ate and drank.

And he sent young men of the sons of Israel. And they offered up burnt offerings, and sacrificed sacrifices of bulls, peace offerings to Jehovah.

And Moses was tending the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock behind the wilderness and came to the mountain of God, to Horeb.

And Moses took the tent and pitched it outside the camp, far off from the camp. And he called it the tabernacle of the congregation. And it happened that everyone seeking Jehovah went to the tabernacle of the congregation which was outside the camp.

I ate no desirable food, and flesh and wine did not come into my mouth. I did not anoint myself at all until three weeks of days were fulfilled.

And Moses said to Hobab the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father in law, We are pulling up stakes to go to the place of which Jehovah has said, I will give it to you. Go with us, and we will do good to you; for Jehovah has spoken good concerning Israel.

And it occurred, on His going into a house of one of the Pharisee leaders on a sabbath to eat bread, and they were closely observing Him.

And one of those reclining with Him, hearing these things, he said to Him, Blessed is he who eats bread in the kingdom of God.

Look at Israel according to flesh; are not those eating the sacrifices sharers of the altar?

Not you are able to drink the cup of the Lord and a cup of demons; not you are able to partake of the table of the Lord and a table of demons.

Then whether you eat or drink, or anything you do, do all things to the glory of God.

And you shall eat there before Jehovah your God, and shall rejoice in all that you put your hand to, you and your households, with which Jehovah your God has blessed you.

And you shall offer peace offerings, and shall eat there. And you shall rejoice before Jehovah your God.
