For they did not inherit the land with their own sword; yea, their own arm did not save them. But it was Your right hand and Your arm and the light of Your face, because You favored them.
Terrors and dread fell on them; by the greatness of Your arm they are silent as a stone, until Your people pass through, O Jehovah, until pass through the people whom You have bought.
And Moses told his father-in-law all that Jehovah had done to Pharaoh and to Egypt on account of Israel, all the trouble which they had found in the way, and Jehovah had delivered them.
And Jehovah said to Moses, Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh. For he will send them away with a strong hand, yea, he will drive them out from his land with a strong hand.
And its breaking is as the breaking of a potter’s vessel; when shattered he has no pity; for in its breaking there is not found a shard to take up fire from the hearth, nor to skim water from a pool.
Awake! Awake! Arm of Jehovah, put on strength. Awake, as in days of old, everlasting generations. Was it not You cutting in pieces Rahab, and piercing the sea monster?
And I will dash them a man against his brother, even the fathers and the sons together, a statement of Jehovah. I will not pity and not spare and not have compassion to keep them from their destruction.
Of Jehovah, ones striving against Him will be smashed against Him; He thunders in the heavens against him. Jehovah judges the ends of the earth and gives strength to His king; and He exalts the horn of His anointed.
