Exodus 12:3

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, On the tenth of this month, they shall each man take for themselves an animal of the flock for a father’s house, a flock animal for a house.

And Abraham said, My son, God will see to the lamb for Himself for a burnt offering. And the two of them went together.

And Abel brought, he also, from the firstlings of his flocks, even from their fat. And Jehovah looked to Abel and to his offering.

And Josiah lifted up to the sons of the people a flock of lambs and young goats, all for passover offerings, for everyone who was found, to the number of thirty thousand, and three thousand oxen; these were from the king’s substance.

This month shall be the chief of months for you. It shall be the first of the months of the year for you.

And Moses called to all the elders of Israel and said to them, Draw out and take of the flock for you and for your families, and kill the passover.

And if the house is too small for a flock animal, he and his neighbor next to his house shall take according to the number of souls, each man according to the mouth of his eating, you shall count concerning the flock animal.

And it shall be for you to keep until the fourteenth day of this month. And all the assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it between the evenings.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Why do you cry to Me? Speak to the sons of Israel, and let them pull up stakes.

And they said to Moses, You speak with us, and we will hear. And let us not speak with God, that we not die.

And Aaron spoke all the words which Jehovah had spoken to Moses. And he did the signs before the people.

Therefore, say to the sons of Israel, I am Jehovah, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of Egypt, and will deliver you from their slavery. And I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.

In the twenty-fifth year of our exile, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was struck, on that same day the hand of Jehovah was on me, and He brought me there.

Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, If any one of you brings an offering to Jehovah, from livestock of the herd, or from the flock, you shall bring near your offering.

And he shall bring his guilt offering to Jehovah for his sin which he has sinned, a female out of the flock, a lamb, or a doe of the goats, for a sin offering. And the priest shall atone for him regarding his sin.

So it shall be done for one ox, or for the one ram, or for a lamb of the sheep, or of the goats.

On the next day, John sees Jesus coming toward him and said, Behold! The Lamb of God, the One taking away the sin of the world!

And looking at Jesus walking, he says, Behold, the Lamb of God!

Therefore six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, the one having died, whom He raised from the dead.

On the next day a great crowd, the one coming to the Feast, hearing that Jesus is coming to Jerusalem,

Therefore clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For also Christ our Passover was sacrificed for us.

And you shall be brought near in the morning, by your tribes. And it shall be, the tribe which Jehovah takes shall draw near by families. And the family which Jehovah takes shall draw near by households. And the household which Jehovah takes shall draw near by men.

And all the ones dwelling in the earth will worship it, the ones of whom the names had not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb having been slaughtered from the foundation of the world.

And Samuel took a milk lamb and offered a whole burnt offering to Jehovah. And Samuel cried to Jehovah for Israel. And Jehovah answered him.
