Esther 8:3

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

And Esther added and spoke again before the king and fell down at his feet. And wept, and she begged favor of him to cause to pass over the evil of Haman the Agagite, and his purpose which he had plotted against the Jews.

And she came to the mountain to the man of God, and lay hold on his feet. And Gehazi came near to thrust her away. But the man of God said, Let her alone, for her soul is bitter in her, and Jehovah has hidden it from me, and has not told me.

After these things King Ahasuerus promoted Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and lifted him up, and set his seat above all the rulers with him.

For we are sold, my people and I, for destruction, for murder and for perishing. But if we had been sold for male slaves and slave-girls, I would have kept silent, though the adversary could not equal the king’s loss.

And the king removed his ring which he had caused to pass over from Haman, and gave it to Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.

Then the king held out the golden scepter to Esther, and Esther rose up and stood before the king,

And Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to Jehovah,

And he contended with the Angel, and overcame. At Beth-el he wept and pleaded to Him. And He finds us, and there He speaks with us,

who in the days of His flesh was offering both petitions and entreaties to the One being able to save Him from death, with strong crying and tears, and being heard from His godly fear;

And she fell at his feet and said, On me, even me, my lord, be the iniquity. And please, let your handmaid speak in your ears; and hear the words of your handmaid.
