And he wrote in the name of King Ahasuerus, and sealed with the king’s ring. And he sent letters by riders on horses, riders on stallions, royal mules, even sons of mares.
And she wrote letters in the name of Ahab, and sealed with his seal, and sent the letters to the elders and to the nobles who were in his city, dwelling with Naboth.
And the runners went with letters from the king’s hand, and his leaders, to all Israel and Judah; even by the king’s command, saying, O sons of Israel return to Jehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. And He shall return to the remnant left of you from the palm of the king of Assyria.
And you write to the Jews according to the good in your eyes, in the king’s name, and seal it with the king’s ring. For the writing which is written in the king’s name, and sealed with the king’s ring, there is no taking back.
A multitude of camels shall cover you, young camels of Midian and Ephah. All of them shall come from Sheba, they shall bear gold and incense; and they shall proclaim the praises of Jehovah.
And they shall bring all your brothers out of all nations, an offering to Jehovah, of horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and on mules, and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem, says Jehovah; as the sons of Israel bring the offering in a clean vessel to the house of Jehovah.
How can you say, I am not defiled; I have not gone after Baals? See your way in the valley; know what you have done! You are a swift camel criss-crossing her ways;
Now, O king, lift up the decree and sign the writing, so that it may not be changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which does not pass away.
