Esther 3:1

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

After these things King Ahasuerus promoted Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and lifted him up, and set his seat above all the rulers with him.

And Esther said, A man, an adversary, and a hating one, Haman! This evil one! And Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.

And Esther added and spoke again before the king and fell down at his feet. And wept, and she begged favor of him to cause to pass over the evil of Haman the Agagite, and his purpose which he had plotted against the Jews.

The wicked ones walk around on every side, when vileness is exalted by the sons of men.

When the righteous ones increase, the people rejoice; when a wicked one rules, the people groan.

folly is set in many high positions, and many rich ones sit in humble situations.

And over them were three presidents (Daniel was one of them), so that these satraps might give account to them, and the king would not suffer loss.

He makes water flow from his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters; his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom exalted.

And Samuel said, As your sword has bereaved women of their children, so shall your mother be bereft among women. And Samuel cut Agag in pieces before Jehovah in Gilgal.

And he captured Agag the king of Amalek alive. But he completely destroyed all the people with the mouth of the sword.
