And all the acts of his authority and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of Mordecai, with which the king made him great, are they not written in the Book of he Matters of the Days of the Kings of Media and Persia?

And the rest of the acts of Jeroboam, how he fought, and how he reigned, behold, they are written in the Book of the Matters of the Days of the Kings of Israel.

For Mordecai was great in the king’s house and his fame went out into all the provinces, for this man Mordecai was going on and growing great.

You have also given me the shield of Your salvation, and Your right hand holds me up, and Your condescension has made me great.

Then the king made Daniel great and gave many great gifts to him. And he made him ruler over all the province of Babylon, and chief of the prefects over all the wise men of Babylon.
