And he said, Behold, the day is still high; it is not time to gather the livestock. Water the cattle and go feed them.

They shall not be ashamed in an evil time; and they shall be satisfied in days of famine.

Give a share to seven, or even to eight; for you do not know what evil may be on the earth.

Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, until the evil days do not come, or the years reach when you shall say, There is no pleasure in them for me;

All that your hand finds to do, do it with your strength. For there is no work, or planning, or knowledge, or wisdom, in Sheol, there where you go.

The king answered and said, For I know surely that you buy time, that on account of all, you see the thing is certainly gone from me.

So he acting wisely shall keep silent in that time, for it is an evil time.

In the same way, the one with the two also did; he also gained another two.

Therefore Jesus said to them, Yet a little while the Light is with you. Walk while you have the Light, that darkness not overtake you. And the one walking in the darkness does not know where he is going.

Also this, knowing the time, that it is now the hour for you to be aroused from sleep, for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.

Therefore I think this to be good, because of the present necessity: that it is good for a man to be so.

who gave Himself for our sins, so that He might deliver us out of the evil age being present, according to the will of our God and Father,

So, then, as we have time, let us work the good toward all, and especially toward the household of the faith.

Because of this, take up the full armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having worked out all things, to stand.

and having shod the feet with the preparation of the “gospel of peace.” Isa. 52:7

Walk in wisdom toward the ones outside, redeeming the time.
