Let all bitterness, and anger, and wrath, and tumult, and evil speaking be put away from you, along with all malice.

who sharpen their tongue like a sword; they tread their arrows, a bitter word,

Hating stirs up strifes, but love covers all transgressions.

One covering hating with lying lips, and sending out slander, he is a fool.

He who is short of temper acts foolishly; and a man of evil plots is hated.

The words of a slanderer are greedily swallowed; yea, they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

The king’s rage is like a lion’s roar, but his favor is like dew on the grass.

The north wind brings forth rain, so one becomes angrily indignant by a tongue of secrecy.

The fire goes out where there is no wood, so the strife becomes quiet. where there is no slanderer.

A man of anger stirs up contention, and a master of fury abounds in transgression.

If a wise man judges with a foolish man, even he shakes, or laughs, and there is no rest.

a lying witness who breathes lies, and he who causes strife among brothers.

Do not hasten to be angry in your spirit; for anger rests in the bosom of fools.

All of them turn aside, they rebel, walking in slander. All of them are as bronze and iron; all of them are corrupters.

Let every man be on guard against his neighbor, and do not trust any brother. For supplanting every brother will supplant, and every neighbor will go about as one slandering.

Husbands, love the wives and do not be bitter against them.

But now, you also, put off all these things: wrath, anger, malice, foul-speaking, shameful speech out of your mouth.

Likewise, their wives are to be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.

not given to wine, not a quarreler, not loving silver, but gentle, not contentious, not eager for ill gain;

and with it all, they also learn to be idle, going around the houses, and not only idle, but also bubbling gossip, and trifling ones, speaking the things not proper.

But refuse the foolish and uninstructed questionings, knowing that they generate quarrels.

without natural affections, unyielding, slanderers, without self-control, savage, haters of good,

(It is right for the overseer to be blameless as a steward of God) not self-pleasing, not prone to anger, not given to wine, not a quarreler, not greedy of ill gain;

aged women likewise in reverent behavior, not slanderers, not having been enslaved by much wine, teachers of good,

So that, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.

But if you have bitter jealousy and contention in your heart, do not boast and lie against the truth.

Do not speak against one another, brothers. The one speaking against a brother, and judging a brother, he speaks against Law, and judges Law. But if you judge Law, you are not a doer of Law, but a judge.

Therefore putting aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

not as Cain was, of the evil one, and slaughtered his brother. And for the sake of what did he slaughter him? Because his works were evil, but the things of his brother were righteous.

Everyone hating the brother is a murderer, and you know that every murderer does not have everlasting life abiding in him.

And I heard a great voice saying in Heaven, Now has come the salvation and power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ, because the accuser of our brothers is thrown down, the one accusing them before our God day and night.
