And this I saw, the wicked ones buried; and they came and went from the holy place, and were forgotten in the city, these things that they had done. This is also vanity.

I am forgotten as one dying from the heart; I am like a perishing vessel.

The memory of the righteous one is for a blessing, but the name of the wicked ones shall rot.

There is no memory of former things; yea, also of things which will be afterward; and not shall there be a memorial with those following.

For there is not a memory of the wise ones more than with the fool forever, in that already the days to come will be forgotten. And how do the wise ones die above the fool?

And there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom saved the city. Yet no man remembered that poor man!

For the living know that they shall die; but the ones having died do not know anything, and not to them is any more a reward, for their memory is forgotten.

The Hope of Israel is Jehovah; all who forsake You shall be ashamed. Those who depart from Me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken Jehovah, the Fountain of living waters.

And it came to be, the poor one died and was carried away by the angels into the bosom of Abraham. And the rich one also died and was buried.

And they stood up false witnesses, who were saying, This man does not cease speaking blasphemous words against this holy place and the Law;

“But the just shall live by faith;” “and if he draws back,” “My soul is not well-pleased in him.” Hab. 2:4; Zeph. 1:6; Mal. 1:10
