Wisdom is good with an inheritance; yea, an advantage to those who see the sun.

But where shall wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding?

The Law of Your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.

The crown of the wise ones is their riches; the folly of fools is their foolishness. .

For better is its profit than the gain of silver, and its produce more than fine gold;

she is more precious than jewels, and all the things you can desire are not to be compared with her.

Also the light is sweet; yea, it is good for the eyes to see the sun.

Then I saw that there is advantage to wisdom above folly, even as light has advantage over darkness.

Do not say, Why was it that the former days were better than these? For you do not ask from wisdom concerning this.
