All go to one place; all are of the dust, and all return to the dust.

And these were the years of the life of Ishmael, a hundred thirty-seven years. And he expired and died, and was gathered to his people.

And Abraham expired and died in a good old age, aged and satisfied, and was gathered to his people.

By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread until your return to the ground. For you have been taken out of it; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.

But man dies and is cut off, and man expires; and where is he?

If a man dies, will he live again?? All the days of my warfare I will wait, until my change comes.

If I wait for Sheol as my house, I have spread out my bed in the darkness;

Surely He will not send out His hand to the ruin heap; behold, though he cries for help in his destruction.

all flesh shall perish together, and man shall return to dust.

As the cloud fades, it goes, so he who goes down to Sheol shall not come up.

For He knows our form, remembering that we are dust.

You hide Your face, and they are troubled; You gather their breath, and they expire and return to their dust.

Like sheep, they are appointed to Sheol. Death shall reign for them. And upright ones shall rule over them in the morning; and their form is for wearing out; Sheol is home for him.

then the dust shall return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return to God who gave it.

Who knows the spirit of the sons of man, whether it goes upward; and the spirit of the beast, whether it goes downward to the earth?

Yea, though he lives twice a thousand years, yet he has seen no good. Do not all go to one place?

It is better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house of feasting; for it is the end of every man; and the living will lay it to his heart.

All that your hand finds to do, do it with your strength. For there is no work, or planning, or knowledge, or wisdom, in Sheol, there where you go.

And many of the sleeping ones in the dust of the ground shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproaches and to everlasting abhorrence.

And when you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people as your brother Aaron was gathered.
