King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

If the spirit of the ruler rises up against you, do not leave your place; for a mind of health quiets great sins.

A man of fury stirs up strife, but one long to anger calms fighting.

In being at length to anger, a ruler is persuaded; and a soft tongue shatters the bone.

There is an evil thing I have seen under the sun, like a sin of error that comes from the presence of the ruler:

do not hasten to go from before him. Do not take a stand in an evil matter, for all that he pleases he does.
