And you have known with your heart that as a man disciplines his son, Jehovah your God disciplines you.

I, as many “as I love, I rebuke and I chasten.” Be zealous, then, and repent. Prov. 3:12

for whom Jehovah loves He corrects, even as a father corrects the son with whom he is pleased.

I shall be to him for a father, and he shall be to Me for a son. When he sins, then I will chasten him with a rod of men, and with strokes of the sons of men.

But being judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we not be condemned with the world.

Blessed is the man You chasten, O Jehovah, You make him know out of Your Law;

Because he sees and turns back from all his transgressions that he has done, living he shall live; he shall not die.

then I will visit their transgressions with the rod, and their sins with stripes.

Only, be on guard for yourself and guard your soul very much, that you do not forget the things which your eyes have seen; and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. And you shall make them known to your sons, and to your sons’ sons.

And you, son of man, make for yourself vessels for exile, and go into exile by day before their eyes. And you shall be exiled from your place to another place before their eyes. Perhaps they will see that they are a rebellious house.

Be on guard for yourselves, lest you forget the covenant of Jehovah your God, which He has cut with you, and make to yourselves a carved image, the form of anything concerning which Jehovah your God has commanded you.

The ox knows his owner, and the ass his master’s manger, but Israel does not know; My people have not understood.

He made you hear His voice out of the heavens, that He might discipline you; and He made you to see His great fire on earth; and you heard His Word from the midst of the fire.

And you shall keep the commandments of Jehovah your God, to walk in His ways, and to fear Him.

One holding back his rod is hating his son, but he loving him seeks him with correction.

On the good day, be in good spirit, but also consider in the evil day, that God has made this one along with this one, so that man should not find anything after him.

and in the wilderness, where you have seen how Jehovah your God has borne you as a man bears his son, in all the way which you have gone until you have come to this place.

My son, do not reject the chastening of Jehovah, and do not loathe His chastisement;
