Deuteronomy 7:8

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

But because Jehovah loved you, and because He kept the oath which He swore to your fathers, Jehovah has caused you to go out with a strong hand, and redeemed you from the house of slaves, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

May Jehovah your God be blessed, who has delighted in you, to put you on His throne to be king for Jehovah your God. In the love of your God toward Israel, to make it stand forever, He has put you over them as king, to do judgment and righteousness.

For He remembered His holy Word and His servant Abraham;

For they did not inherit the land with their own sword; yea, their own arm did not save them. But it was Your right hand and Your arm and the light of Your face, because You favored them.

You are He, my King, O God; command deliverances for Jacob.

And it shall be when your son asks you in the future, saying, What is this? You shall say to him, Jehovah brought us out from Egypt by the might of His hand, from the house of slaves.

And Moses said to the people, Remember this day in which you went out from Egypt, from the house of slaves. For by the might of His hand Jehovah brought you out from here. And no leaven shall be eaten.

I am Jehovah your God, who has brought you out from the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants to whom You swore by Yourself, and You spoke to them, I will multiply your seed like the stars of the heavens, and all this land which I have said, I will give to your seed. And they shall possess it forever.

Therefore, say to the sons of Israel, I am Jehovah, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of Egypt, and will deliver you from their slavery. And I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.

Since you were precious in My eyes, you are honored, and I love you, and I give men instead of you; and peoples instead of your soul.

In all their affliction, He was not a foe; and the Angel of His Presence saved them. In His love and in His pity He redeemed them. And He bore them up, and He lifted them up all the days of old.

Jehovah has appeared to me from far away, saying, Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love! Therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.

Therefore, say to the house of Israel, So says the Lord Jehovah: I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but only for My holy name which you profaned among the nations, there to which you had gone in.

For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of slaves; and I sent Moses, Aaron, and Miriam before you.

You will give faithfulness to Jacob, mercy to Abraham, which You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

Jehovah your God is a mighty One in your midst; He will save. He will rejoice over you with joy; He is silent in His love. He rejoices over you with a joyful shout.

I have loved you, says Jehovah. But you say, In what way have You loved us? Was not Esau brother to Jacob, and I loved Jacob? A statement of Jehovah.

Yes, Father, for so it was pleasing before You.

even as He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed to the age.

Indeed, as regards the gospel, ones hostile toward you, but as regards the election, beloved on account of the fathers.

See, I have given before you the land; go in and possess the land which Jehovah has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to them, and to their seed after them.

Only, Jehovah has delighted in your fathers, to love them; and He chose their seed after them, on you out of all the peoples, as it is today.

You shall not seek their peace nor their prosperity all your days, perpetually.

Yes, He loves the peoples; all His holy ones are in Your hand; and they sit down at Your feet; He lifts up each at Your words.

And Jehovah has taken you, and has brought you forth out of the iron furnace, out of Egypt, to be a people to Him, an inheritance, as it is this day.

Or has God gone forth to take to Himself a nation from the midst of a nation, by trials, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that Jehovah your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

And because He loved your fathers, and chose their seed after them, and brought you out with His presence, with His great power, out of Egypt,

I am Jehovah your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

We love Him because He first loved us.

For Jehovah will not abandon His people, for the sake of His great name. For Jehovah undertakes to make you a people for Himself.
