And among these nations you shall not find ease, and the sole of your foot shall not have rest. But Jehovah shall give you there a trembling heart and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind.

But the eyes of the wicked ones shall be consumed, and escape shall perish from them; and their hope shall be like the breathing out of the soul.

I will also do this to you, and I shall appoint terror over you, the wasting, and the burning fever, destroying the eyes, and consuming the soul; and you shall sow your seed in vain, and your enemies will eat it.

And those who are left of you, I shall also bring a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a driven leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as one flees from the sword; and they shall fall when no one pursues.

And if they go into exile before their enemies, from there I will command the sword, and it will kill them. And I will set My eyes on them for evil, and not for good.

I heard, and my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the sound. Rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled within myself that I might rest for the day of distress; to come up against the peoples, he cuts him off.

But all these are a beginning of birth pangs

men fainting from fear,and expectation of the things coming on the earth. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

“let their eyes be darkened, not to see, and their back through all bent.” LXXPsa. 68:23, 24; MT-Psa. 69:22, 23

And your life shall hang in doubt before you, and you shall fear day and night, and shall have no assurance of your life.
