and it shall be in the day you cross over the Jordan to the land which Jehovah your God is giving to you, that you shall raise up for yourself great stones, and plaster them with plaster.

And I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give to you a heart of flesh.

For you are to cross over the Jordan to go in to possess the land which Jehovah your God is giving to you; and you shall possess it and live in it.

And it shall be, when you have come into the land which Jehovah your God is giving to you as an inheritance, and you have possessed it, and live in it;

And Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commands which I am commanding you today,

And you shall write on them all the words of this Law when you have crossed over, so that you may go into the land which Jehovah your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Jehovah the God of your fathers has promised you.

And it shall be when you have crossed over the Jordan, that you shall raise up these stones as to which I am commanding you today, in Mount Ebal, and you shall plaster them with plaster.

And this is the commandment, the statute and the judgments which Jehovah your God commanded to teach you, to do them in the land to which you are crossing over, to possess it,

Hear, O Israel, you shall cross over the Jordan today, to go in to dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities great and walled up to the heavens;

Pass through the camp and command the people, saying, Prepare food for you. For within three days you are crossing this Jordan to go in to possess the land which Jehovah your God is giving to you, to possess it.

And it happened, when all the nation had completely crossed over the Jordan, Jehovah spoke to Joshua, saying,

Then Joshua built an altar to Jehovah, the God of Israel, in Mount Ebal,

as Moses, the servant of Jehovah, commanded the sons of Israel, as it is written in the book of the Law of Moses; an altar of whole stones, on which had been wielded no iron. And they offered upon it burnt offerings to Jehovah, and offered peace offerings.

And he wrote there on the stones the copy of the Law of Moses which he had written in the presence of the sons of Israel.
