Deuteronomy 24:19

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

When you cut down your harvest in your field, and have forgotten a sheaf in the field, you shall not turn back to take it. It shall be for the sojourner, for the orphan, and for the widow; so that Jehovah your God shall bless you in all the work of your hand.

And Jehovah blessed the latter days of Job more than the earlier days. And to him were fourteen thousand sheep and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she-asses.

He has scattered; he has given to the needy ones; his righteousness is standing forever; his horn shall be lifted up with honor.

He who despises his neighbor sins, but he who favors the humble one, how happy is he!

One favoring the poor one lends to Jehovah, and He will repay his dealing to him.

But the noble one counsels noble things; and he rises up by noble things.

And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not finish the corner of your field; and when you gather the gleaning of your harvest, you shall leave them for the poor one, and for the alien: I am Jehovah your God.

But love the ones hostile to you, and do good, and lend, causing no one to despair, and your reward will be much; and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind to the unthankful and evil ones.

Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down and shaken together, and running over, they will give into your bosom. For the same measure which you measure, it will be measured back to you.

And the Levite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you, and the sojourner, and the fatherless, and the widow who are within your gates shall come and shall eat and be satisfied; so that Jehovah your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

Giving you shall give to him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him, because Jehovah your God will bless you for this thing, in all your work, and in all that you put your hand to.

But you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and Jehovah your God redeemed you from there. On account of this I command you to do this thing.

and you shall say before Jehovah your God, I have removed the things of holiness from the house, and also have given them to the Levite, and to the sojourner, to the orphan, and to the widow, according to all Your command which You have commanded me. I have not transgressed Your commands, and I have not forgotten.

And pulling you shall also pull out for her of the bundles, and shall leave; and she shall glean, and you shall not restrain her.

And Ruth of Moab said to Naomi, Let me now go to the field and glean among the ears of grain after him in whose sight I shall find favor. And she said to her, Go, my daughter.
