King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

That which has gone out of your lips, you shall keep, and shall do it. According as you have vowed as a free will offering to Jehovah your God, do even that which you have spoken with your mouth.

I will pay my vows to Jehovah now in the presence of all His people,

Sacrifice thanksgiving to God, and pay your vows to the Most High.

It is a snare to a man to say rashly, A holy thing, and afterward to vow to inquire about it.

But doing we will do whatever thing goes out of our own mouth, to burn incense to the queen of the heavens, and to pour out drink offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our kings, and our rulers, in the cities of Judah and in the outside places of Jerusalem. And we were satisfied with food, and were well, and saw no evil thing.

Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them, When a man makes an extraordinary vow by your evaluation, the persons shall be Jehovah’s.

When a man vows a vow to Jehovah, or has sworn an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word; he shall do all that has gone out of his mouth.

Again, you have heard that it was said to the ancients: “You shall not swear falsely, but shall give your oaths to the Lord.” Lev. 19:12; Num. 30:2

And it becoming day, some of the Jews making a conspiracy bound themselves by an oath, saying neither to eat nor to drink until they should kill Paul.

Therefore, you do not be persuaded by them, for more than forty men of them lie in wait for him who bound themselves by an oath neither to eat nor to drink until they kill him. And now they are ready, awaiting the promise from you.

But if you shall forebear to vow, it shall be no sin to you.

When you come into your neighbor’s vineyard, then you may eat grapes to your fill, at your pleasure. But you shall not put any in your vessel.

And the sons of Israel did not strike them, for the leaders of the congregation swore to them by Jehovah the God of Israel. And all the congregation murmured against the leaders.

And it happened when he saw her, he tore his garments, and said, Alas, my daughter! You have brought me very low, and you are among those making me low. And surely I have opened my mouth to Jehovah, and I am not able to take it back.

And she vowed a vow, and said, O Jehovah of Hosts, if looking You will look upon the affliction of Your handmaid, and shall remember me, and not forget Your handmaid, and shall give to Your handmaid a seed of men, then I will give him to Jehovah all the days of his life; and a razor shall not go up on his head.

And the men of Israel were pressed on that day, for Saul took an oath of the people, saying, Cursed shall be the man who eats food until the evening, when I have been avenged on my enemies; and none of the people tasted food.
