But you shall seek to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose out of all your tribes; for you shall seek His dwelling, to put His name there. And you shall go there.

if this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of Jehovah at Jerusalem, even the heart of this people shall turn again to their lord, to Rehoboam the king of Judah, and they will kill me and turn back to Rehoboam the king of Judah.

And Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty-one years old when he began to reign. And he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which Jehovah chose out of all the tribes of Israel, to put His name there. And his mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonitess.

From the day that I brought out My people, even Israel, from Egypt, I have not chosen a city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house for My name to be there; but I chose David to be over My people Israel.

And Jehovah has lifted up His Word that He spoke; for I have risen up instead of my father David and sit on the throne of Israel, as Jehovah spoke, and have built the house for the name of Jehovah, the God of Israel;

But will God in truth dwell on the earth? Behold, the heavens and heaven of the heavens cannot contain You; how much less this house which I have built!

for Your eyes are open toward this house night and day, toward the place of which You have said, My name shall be there; to listen to the prayer which Your servant prays toward this place.

And when you say to me, We have trusted to Jehovah our God, is it not He whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has removed, and has said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Before this altar you shall bow yourselves in Jerusalem?

And David said, This is the house of Jehovah God, and this altar for burnt offering for Israel.

And Jehovah appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him, I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place to Myself for a house of sacrifice.

Then Jeshua the son of Jozadak stood up, and his brothers the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brothers, and built the altar of the God of Israel in order to offer burnt offerings on it, as it is written in the Law of Moses the man of God.

And may the God who has caused His name to dwell there destroy any kings and people who shall put their hand to change or to destroy this house of God in Jerusalem. I, Darius, have set out a decree. Let it be done exactly.

Therefore of this you shall diligently buy with this silver: bulls, rams, lambs, with their food offerings, and their drink offerings, and offer them on the altar of the house of your God in Jerusalem.

But if you will turn to Me and keep My commandments, and do them, though you were cast out to the limit of the heavens, yet I will gather them from there, and will bring them to the place that I have chosen, to set My name there.

But He chose the tribe of Judah, the Mount Zion which He loved.

My strength and song is Jehovah, and it happened, He was salvation to me; this is my God and I will glorify Him; the God of my father, and I will exalt Him.

You shall make an altar of earth for Me, and you shall sacrifice your burnt offerings and your peace offerings on it, your sheep and your cattle. In every place in which I cause My name to be remembered, I will come to you and will bless you.

And I will meet you there, and will speak with you, above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubs which are on the ark of testimony, all which I shall command you concerning the sons of Israel.

So says Jehovah, Stand in the court of the house of Jehovah and speak to all the cities of Judah which have come to bow down in the house of Jehovah, all the words that I command you to speak to them. Do not diminish a word.

But go now to My place which was in Shiloh, where I made My name dwell at the first, and see what I did to it for the evil of My people Israel.

Therefore I will do to the house on which My name is called, in which you are trusting, and to the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

and has not brought it in to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation as an offering to Jehovah, before the tabernacle of Jehovah, blood shall be imputed to that man; he has shed blood. And that man shall be cut off from the midst of his people;

And when Moses went into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with Him, he heard the voice speaking to him from the mercy seat which is on the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubs; and He spoke to him.

And it shall be the place which Jehovah your God shall choose to cause His name to dwell there, there you shall bring all that I am commanding you, your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice free-will offerings which you vow to Jehovah.

Take heed to yourself that you not offer your burnt offerings in every place that you see;

But you shall eat it before Jehovah your God in the place which Jehovah your God shall choose, you and your son, and your daughter, and your male slave, and your female slave, and the Levite who is within your gates. And you shall rejoice before Jehovah your God in all that you put your hand to.

You shall not do so to Jehovah your God.

And you shall eat before Jehovah your God in the place which He shall choose to cause His name to dwell there, the tithe of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the firstlings of your herd and of your flock; that you may learn to fear Jehovah your God all your days.

And if the way is too long for you, so that you cannot carry it, because the place is too far from you which Jehovah your God shall choose to set His name there, when Jehovah your God shall bless you;

You shall eat it before Jehovah your God year by year in the place which Jehovah shall choose, you and your household.

And you shall rejoice before Jehovah your God, you and your son, and your daughter, and your male slave, and your slave-girl, and the Levite that is inside your gates, and the alien, and the fatherless, and the widow, all that are among you, in the place which Jehovah your God shall choose to cause His name to dwell there.

You shall keep a solemn feast seven days to Jehovah your God in the place which Jehovah shall choose; for Jehovah your God shall bless you in all your produce, and in every work of your hands, and you shall be only joyful.

And you shall sacrifice a passover to Jehovah your God of the flock, and of the herd, in the place which He shall choose to cause His name to dwell there.

But at the place which He shall choose to cause His name to dwell there, you shall sacrifice the Passover offering at evening, at the going in of the sun, at the time when you came out of Egypt.

And you shall boil and eat in the place which Jehovah your God shall choose. And in the morning you shall turn and go into your tents.

If a matter is too hard for you in judgment, between blood and blood, between cause and cause, or between stroke and stroke, matters of strife within your gates, then you shall rise and go up to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose.

And if a Levite comes from one of your gates of all Israel, there where he has been living, and comes with all the desire of his soul to the place which Jehovah shall choose,

even you shall take of the first of all the fruit of the ground which you shall bring in from your land which Jehovah your God is giving to you, and shall put it in a basket, and shall go to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose to cause His name to dwell there.

when all Israel comes in to see the face of Jehovah in the place which He chooses, you shall proclaim this Law before all Israel, in their ears.

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;

But you have drawn near Mount Zion, even the city of the living God, to a heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels,

And all the company of the sons of Israel were gathered at Shiloh. And they established the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land had been subdued before them.

And the sons of Israel heard it said, Behold, the sons of Reuben, and the sons of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasseh have built an altar across from the land of Canaan, in the regions of the Jordan, at the border of the sons of Israel.

And on that day Joshua made them woodcutters, and drawers of water for the congregation, and for the altar of Jehovah at the place which He should choose, to this day.

And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion! And with Him were a hundred and forty-four thousands, with the name of His Father having been written on their foreheads.
