King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

And I, Daniel, was sick. And I was sick for days. And I arose and did the king’s business. And I was amazed at the vision; but there was no understanding.

And, behold, one in form as the sons of men touched my lips. And I opened my mouth and spoke and said to him who stood before me, O lord, because of the vision my pangs have turned on me, and I have no strength left.

And I was left alone, and I saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me, for my glory was turned within me into corruption, and I kept no strength.

Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was stunned for one moment, and his thoughts troubled him. The king answered and said, O Belteshazzar, do not let the dream or its meaning trouble you. Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the dream is to those who hate you, and its meaning is to your enemies.

I have even heard of you, that the spirit of the gods is in you, and light, and surpassing wisdom, and understanding are found in you.

Until now is the end of the matter. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts terrified me much, and my face changed on me. But I kept the matter in my heart.

And he came over against my place. And when he came, I was afraid and fell on my face. But he said to me, O son of man, understand, for the vision is for the time of the end.

And I saw in the vision, and it happened in my seeing that I was at Shushan, the palace, which is in the province of Elam. And in a vision I saw, and I was by the Ulai Canal.

And I saw him reaching over against the ram. And he became enraged against him. And he struck the ram and shattered his two horns. And there was no power in the ram to stand before him. But he threw him down to the ground and trampled him. And no one could deliver the ram from his hand.

I heard, and my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the sound. Rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled within myself that I might rest for the day of distress; to come up against the peoples, he cuts him off.

And Samuel lay until the morning. And he opened the doors of the house of Jehovah. And Samuel was afraid to declare the vision to Eli.
