Daniel 6:10

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

And when he had learned that the writing was signed, Daniel went to his house. And his windows were open in his roof room toward Jerusalem. He knelt on his knees three times in the day, and prayed and praised before his God, as he was doing before.

And You shall listen to the supplication of Your servant, and of Your people Israel when they shall pray toward this place; yea, You shall listen in Your dwelling-place, in Heaven; and You shall hear and shall forgive.

any prayer, any supplication that shall come from any man of all of Your people Israel, who shall each man know the plague of his own heart, and shall spread his palms toward this house,

If Your people shall go out to battle against its enemy, in the way that You have sent them, and they have prayed to Jehovah the way to the city which You have chosen, and to the house which I have built for Your name,

yea, they shall turn back to You with all their heart, and with all their soul in the land of their captivity to which they were captured, and they shall pray toward their land that You have given to their fathers, and toward the city that You have chosen, and toward the house that I have built for Your name;

And at the evening offering I rose up from my fasting, and with my garment and my robe torn, I even fell on my knees and spread out my hands to Jehovah my God.

And I said, Should such a man as I flee? And who being as I am would go into the temple and live? I will not go in.

A Psalm of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech; and he drove him away, and he went. I will bless Jehovah at all times; His praise shall always be in my mouth.

But I, in the abundance of Your grace, I will come into Your house. I will worship in Your fear toward Your holy temple, O Jehovah.

Evening and morning and at noon I will complain and moan; and He will hear my voice.

Be gracious to Me, O Lord, for I cry to You all the day.

O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before Jehovah our Maker.

Then they answered and said before the king, Daniel, who is of the sons of the exiled of Judah, has not set attention on you, O king, or the decree that you have signed, but he makes his prayer three times in the day.

And I prayed to Jehovah my God, and confessed, saying, O Lord, the great and awesome God, keeping the covenant and kindness of those who love Him, and to those who keep His commandments,

And I said, I am cast off from Your eyes; only I will again look to Your holy temple.

And He said to the man having the hand withered, Rise up into the middle.

If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brothers and sisters, and besides, even his own life, he cannot be My disciple.

And He was withdrawn from them, about a stone’s throw. And having placed the knees, He prayed,

And on the next day, those ones traveling on the road, and drawing near to the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray about the sixth hour.

For these are not drunk, as you assume, for it is the third hour of the day.

But I make account of nothing, nor do I hold my life precious to myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to solemnly testify the gospel of the grace of God.

And having said these things, placing his knees, he prayed with them all.

But when it was time for us to finish out the days, having gone out, we traveled. And they, with all the women and children went with us as far as outside the city. And placing the knees on the shore, we prayed.

And on the same day Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth.

And now, Lord, look upon their threatenings and give to Your slaves to speak Your Word with all boldness,

Go! And standing in the temple, speak to the people all the words of this Life.

But answering Peter and the apostles said, It is right to obey God rather than men.

And placing the knees, he cried out with a loud voice, Lord, do not make this sin stand against them. And having said this, he fell asleep.

And having put all out, placing the knees, Peter prayed. And turning to the body he said, Tabitha, Arise! And she opened her eyes; and seeing Peter she sat up.

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

And the most of the brothers in the Lord, having been persuaded in my bonds, more exceedingly dare to speak the Word fearlessly.

according to my earnest expectation and hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but as always in all boldness even now Christ will be magnified in my body, whether through life or through death.

Be anxious about nothing, but in everything by prayer and by petition with thanksgivings, let your requests be made known to God;

And every thing, whatever you do in word or in work, do all things in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father through Him.

Therefore through Him let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God always, this is, the fruit of the lips, confessing to His name.

Therefore, let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and we may find grace for timely help.

Fear nothing of what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some from you into prison, so that you may be tried; and you will have affliction ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

I know your works, and where you dwell, where the throne of Satan is. And you hold My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful witness; who was killed alongside you, where Satan dwells.
