King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

And the Lord gave Jehoiakim, king of Judah, into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God, which he bore into the land of Shinar to the house of his god. And he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.

And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

And it happened, as they pulled up stakes from the east, they found a level valley in the land of Shinar. And they lived there.

In his days Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim was a servant to him three years; and he turned and rebelled against him.

Jehoiakim was a son of twenty five years when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And he did the evil in the eyes of Jehovah his God.

And Nebuchadnezzar brought some of the vessels of the house of Jehovah to Babylon, and put them in his temple in Babylon.

Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of Jehovah, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought out of Jerusalem and had put them in the house of his gods.

And it shall be in that day, the Lord shall add His hand, the second time, to possess the remnant of His people that remains, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Ethiopia, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the coasts of the sea.

Who gave Jacob to the plunderer, and Israel to the robbers? Did not Jehovah, He against whom we have sinned? For they willed not to walk in His ways, and they did not obey His Law.

The Word that was to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah. It was the first year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon,

Also I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, So says Jehovah, Do not listen to the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the house of Jehovah shall now be quickly brought again from Babylon, for they prophesy a lie to you.

Within two years I will bring back into this place all the vessels of the house of Jehovah which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place and brought them to Babylon.

But it was when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against the land, and we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem, because of the army of the Chaldeans and because of the army of Syria. And we live in Jerusalem.

Declare among the nations, and make them hear, and lift up a banner. Make them hear, do not hide it; say, Babylon is captured, Bel is put to shame, Merodach is broken in pieces, her images are put to shame, her idols are broken in pieces.

And I will visit Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he has swallowed up. And the nations shall not flow together any more to him; yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.

Then Daniel was brought in before the king. The king spoke and said to Daniel, Are you that Daniel who is of the sons of the exiled of Judah, whom my father the king brought out of Judah?

As for you, O king, the Most High God gave your father Nebuchadnezzar a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honor.

On account of this he sacrifices to his net, and burns incense to his fishnet; because by them his portion grows fat, and his food rich.

And he said to me, To build a house for it in the land of Shinar; and it shall be made ready and placed there on its own place.

How could one chase a thousand, and two put a myriad to flight, if it were not their Rock that sold them, and Jehovah had shut them up?

And the anger of Jehovah burned against Israel, and He gave them into the hand of plunderers; and they plundered them. And He sold them into the hand of their enemies all around, and they were not able to stand before their enemies any longer.

And the anger of Jehovah burned against Israel. And He gave them over into the hand of Chushan-rishathaim, king of Mesopotamia. And the sons of Israel served Chushan-rishathaim eight years.

And Jehovah sold them into the hand of Jabin the king of Canaan, who ruled in Hazor. And his army commander was Sisera; and he lived in Harosheth of the nations.

And the Philistines took the ark of God and brought it to the house of Dagon, and set it near Dagon.
