Epaphras greets you, he of you, a slave of Christ, always striving for you in prayers, that you may stand full-grown and being complete in all the will of God.

Therefore, you be perfect even as your Father in Heaven is perfect.

Since many have undertaken to draw up in order an account concerning the matters having been borne out among us,

If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will also be. And if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

For the rest, brothers, rejoice! Perfect yourselves; encourage yourselves, think the same thing, be at peace; and the God of love and of peace will be with you.

For do I now persuade men or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I yet pleased men, I would not be a slave of Christ.

My children, for whom I again travail until Christ should be formed to you,

in the body of His flesh, through death, to present you holy and without blemish and irreproachable before Him,

whom we proclaim, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man fullgrown in Christ Jesus,

for which also I labor, struggling according to the working of Him, the One working in me in power.

even as you also learned from Epaphras our beloved fellow-slave, who is a faithful minister of Christ for you,

Because of this also, from the day in which we heard, we do not cease praying on your behalf, and asking that you may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

with Onesimus the faithful and beloved brother, who is of you. They will make known to you all the things here.

And may the God of peace Himself fully sanctify you, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Epaphras, my fellow-captive in Christ Jesus, greets you,

But solid food is for mature ones, of the ones of whom the faculties having been exercised through habit, for judgment of both good and bad.

who in the days of His flesh was offering both petitions and entreaties to the One being able to save Him from death, with strong crying and tears, and being heard from His godly fear;
