And they will stretch out beside every altar, and on garments taken in pledge. And they will drink wine of those being fined in the house of God.

who lie on beds of ivory and spread out on their couches; and those eating the lambs from the flock, and bull calves from the midst of the stall;

those drinking from bowls of wine, and they anoint themselves with the best of oils, but they do not grieve for the breaking of Joseph!

Not you are able to drink the cup of the Lord and a cup of demons; not you are able to partake of the table of the Lord and a table of demons.

Neither be idolaters, even as some of them, as it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and stood up to play.” Ex. 32:6

For if anyone sees you, the one having knowledge, reclining in an idol’s temple, will not the weak one’s conscience be built up so as to eat the idolatrous offering?

And they went out into the fields and gathered their vineyards, and trod out, and made a festival, and went into the house of their god and ate and drank, and cursed Abimelech.
