Both trembling and being astonished he said, Lord, what do You desire me to do? And the Lord said to him, Rise up and go into the city, and it will be told you what you must do.

Who is this, the man fearing Jehovah? He teaches him the way he should choose.

Blessed is the man You chasten, O Jehovah, You make him know out of Your Law;

His ways I have seen, but I will heal him, and will lead him and complete comforts to him and to his mourners.

And My hand has made all these things, even all these things exist, a statement of Jehovah. But I will look toward this one, to the afflicted one, and to the contrite of spirit, even trembling at My Word.

This one is lodged with a certain Simon, a tanner, to whom is a house by the sea. This one will tell you what you must do.

But hearing this, they were pierced in the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, Men, brothers, what shall we do?

And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said to me, Rising up, go into Damascus, and there you will be told about all things which has been appointed to you to do.

but rise up and stand on your feet, for it is for this reason I appeared to you, to appoint you a servant and a witness both of the things which you saw, and the things in which I shall appear to you,

And he said, Sir, who are You? And the Lord said, I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting; it is hard for you to kick against the goads.

But Isaiah is very bold and says, “I was found by the ones not seeking Me; I became manifest to the ones not inquiring after Me.” Isa. 65:1

For not knowing the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.

But Law came in besides, that the deviation might abound; but where sin abounded, grace much more abounded,

And I lived apart from Law once, but the commandment coming, and sin came alive again, and I died.

So, then, my beloved, even as you always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much rather in my absence, cultivate your salvation with fear and trembling,

But He gives greater grace. Because of this it says, “God sets Himself against proud ones, but He gives grace to humble ones.” Prov. 3:34

And you call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will make you know what you shall do. And you shall anoint for Me whomever I say to you.

And Saul saw the camp of the Philistines, and his heart trembled and he greatly feared.
