opening and setting forth that the Christ must have suffered, and to have risen from the dead, and that this is the Christ, Jesus, whom I proclaim to you.
And having appointed him a day, more came to him in the lodging, to whom he expounded, earnestly testifying the kingdom of God and persuading them the things concerning Jesus, both from the Law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning until evening.
And all the ones hearing were amazed and said, Not this one is the one destroying the ones calling on this Name in Jerusalem, and he had come here for this, that he might take them, having been bound, before the chief priests?
But taking hold of him, Barnabas led him to the apostles and told them how he saw the Lord in the way, and that He spoke to him, and how in Damascus he spoke boldly in the name of Jesus.
But God chose the foolish things of the world that the wise might be put to shame, and God chose the weak things of the world so that He might put to shame the strong things.
