But Saul, still breathing threat and murder toward the disciples of the Lord, coming to the high priest,

But Saul ravaged the assembly, having entered, going in according to the houses; dragging away men and women, he gave them over into prison.

the one who before was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I received mercy, because being ignorant I did it in unbelief.

For you heard of my way of life when I was in Judaism, that with surpassing zeal I persecuted the Assembly of God and ravaged it.

For I am the least of the apostles, who am not sufficient to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the Assembly of God.

And throwing him outside the city, they stoned him. And the witnesses put off their garments at the feet of a young man called Saul.

according to zeal, persecuting the Assembly; according to righteousness in Law, being blameless.

Do not give me into the soul of my adversaries; for false witnesses have risen up against me, and the ones breathing out violence.
