And the saying was pleasing before all the multitude. And they chose out Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch,

And on the next day, the ones around Paul going out, we came to Caesarea. And going into Philip the evangelist’s house, he being of the Seven, we remained with him.

but you will receive power, the Holy Spirit having come upon you, and you will be witnesses of Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

And with one mind the crowds heeded that being said by Philip in their hearing, and seeing the many miraculous signs which he did.

But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, Rise up and go along south on the way going down from Jerusalem to Gaza. This is a deserted place.

And running near Philip heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, Then, indeed, do you know what you are reading?
