And a certain man, being lame from his mother’s womb, was being carried, whom they put according to a day at the door of the temple, the one being called Beautiful, to ask merciful gifts from the ones going into the temple;

And there was a certain poor one, Lazarus by name, who had been thrown at his doorway, being covered with sores,

And it happened as He drew near to Jericho, a certain blind one sat by the highway, begging.

Therefore the neighbors and the ones formerly seeing him, that he was blind, said, Is this one not the one sitting and begging?

And he said, Cornelius, your prayer was heard and your merciful deeds were remembered before God.

And he was staring at him, and becoming terrified he said, What is it, Lord? And he said to him, Your prayers and your merciful deeds went up for a memorial before God.

And a certain man was sitting in Lystra, powerless in the feet, being lame from his mother’s womb, who had never walked.

And they recognized him, that it was the one who was sitting for merciful gifts at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. And they were filled with amazement and ecstasy at the thing having happened to him.

For the man on whom this miraculous sign of healing had occurred was more than forty years of age.
