Acts 3:13

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

The “God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob,” “the God of our fathers,” Ex. 3:15 glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you gave over, and denied Him to the face of Pilate, judging to set that One free.

And Moses said to God, Behold, I shall come to the sons of Israel and say to them, the God of your fathers has sent me to you; and they will say to me, What is His name? What shall I say to them?

And God said to Moses again, You shall say this to the sons of Israel, Jehovah, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial from generation to generation.

And He said, I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face, for he feared to look upon God.

All things were given over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and to whomever the Son purposes to reveal Him.

And they will give Him over to the nations to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.

“I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?” God is not God of the dead, but of the living. Ex. 3:6

And binding Him, they led Him away and gave Him over to Pontius Pilate the governor.

And coming up, Jesus spoke with them, saying, All authority in Heaven and on earth was given to Me.

But the chief priests stirred up the crowd, that rather he should release Barabbas to them.

But he denied Him, saying, Woman, I do not know Him.

And Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, I find no cause of death in this Man.

Judge not, and not be judged, not ever. Do not condemn, and not you will be condemned, not ever. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

But His disciples did not know these things at the first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written on Him, and that they did these things to Him.

Then all cried out again, saying, Not this one, but Barabbas! But Barabbas was a plunderer.

Jesus answered, You would not have authority against Me, not even any if it was not being given to you from above. Because of this the one giving Me over to you has a greater sin.

From this, Pilate sought to release Him. But the Jews were crying out, saying, If you release this one, you are not a friend of Caesar. Everyone making himself a king speaks against Caesar.

But they cried out, Away, Away! Crucify Him! Pilate said to them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We do not have a king except Caesar.

But He said this about the Spirit, whom the ones believing into Him were about to receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

And he said, The God of our fathers has beforehand chosen you to know His will, and to see the Righteous One, and to hear a voice out of His mouth;

But I confess this to you that according to the Way, which they call a sect, so I worship the paternal God, believing all things according to that having been written in the Law and the Prophets,

And seeing this, Peter answered to the people, Men, Israelites, why do you marvel at this one? Or why do you stare at us, as if by our own power or piety we have made him to walk about?

Having raised up His Servant Jesus, God sent Him first to you, blessing you in turning away each one from your iniquities.

For on a truth both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the nations and the peoples of Israel, were assembled against Your holy Servant, Jesus, whom You anointed,

in Your hand to stretch out unto healing and miraculous signs and wonders to happen through the name of Your holy Servant, Jesus.

“I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Ex. 3:6, 15 But becoming trembling, Moses did not dare to closely look.

whose are the fathers, and from whom is the Christ according to flesh, He being God over all, blessed to the ages. Amen.

but the One for a little time, we do see Jesus, having been made less than the angels because of the suffering of death now, having been crowned with honor and glory so as by the grace of God He might taste of death for every son.

and the One Living; and I became dead; and, behold, I am living to the ages of the ages. Amen. And I have the keys to hell, and of death.

even from Jesus Christ the faithful Witness, the First-begotten out of the dead ones, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To the One loving us and having washed us from our sins by His blood,
