And it happened the father of Publius was lying down, suffering from fevers and dysentery; to whom Paul, entering and praying, laying on his hands, healed him.
And having called His twelve disciples, He gave them authority over unclean spirits, so as to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every infirmity of body.
As He was speaking these things to them, behold, one ruler coming worshiped before Him, saying, My daughter has just now died; but coming lay Your hand on her, and she will live.
they will take up snakes; and if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them, not any; they will lay hands on ones being infirm, and they will be well.
And he much implores Him, saying, My little daughter has finally come to the end. I pray that coming You may lay hands on her, that she may be cured and live.
And the setting of the sun, all, as many as had sick ones with various diseases, brought them to Him. And laying hands on each one of them, He healed them.
And in the parts about that place were pieces of land to the first man of the island, Publius by name. Welcoming us, he hosted us three days in a friendly way.
