The Lord Jehovah has opened My ear and I did not rebel; I did not turn away backwards.

And I heard the voice of Jehovah, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us? And I said, Behold me. Send me!

And I did so, as I was commanded. By day I brought forth my vessels as vessels for exile. And in the evening I dug by hand for myself through the wall. I brought it out in the dark, and I bore on my shoulder before their eyes.

So the Spirit lifted me up and took me, and I went bitterly in the heat of my spirit, and the hand of Jehovah was strong upon me.

But Jonah rose up to flee to Tarshish from the face of Jehovah. And he went down to Joppa, and he found a ship going to Tarshish. And he gave its fare and went down into it in order to go with them to Tarshish, from before the face of Jehovah.

to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness into light, and from the authority of Satan onto God, in order for them to receive remission of sins, and an inheritance among the ones being sanctified by faith into Me.

Concerning all of which I am accused by Jews, King Agrippa, I consider myself blessed being about to make defense before you today,

but firstly to the ones in Damascus, and Jerusalem, and to all the region of Judea, and to the nations, I proclaimed the command to repent and to turn to God, practicing works worthy of repentance.

to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the nations, immediately I did not confer with flesh and blood,
