Defending himself, Paul said, Neither against the Law of the Jews, nor against the temple, nor against Caesar have I sinned in anything.

For stealing I was stolen from the land of the Hebrews; and here also I have not done anything that they should have put me into the pit.

And Jeremiah said to King Zedekiah, What have I sinned against you, or against your servants, or against this people, that you have put me into a house imprisonment?

My God has sent His angel, and He has shut the mouths of the lions. And they have not harmed me, because in His sight innocence was found in me. And also before you, O king, I have done no harm.

And looking intently at the sanhedrin, Paul said, Men, brothers, I in all good conscience have conducted myself toward God until this day.

and neither did they find me discussing with anyone in the temple, or making a gathering of a crowd, neither in the synagogues, nor throughout the city;

But I confess this to you that according to the Way, which they call a sect, so I worship the paternal God, believing all things according to that having been written in the Law and the Prophets,

who also attempted to profane the temple, whom we also seized and wished to judge according to our law;

But Paul said, I am standing before the tribunal of Caesar where I must be judged. I have wronged the Jews in nothing, as also you very well know.

And after three days, it happened that Paul decided to call together the ones being first ones of the Jews. And they coming together, he said to them, Men, brothers, I having done nothing hostile to the people, or to the paternal customs, yet I was given over a prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans,

But the ones said to him, We neither received letters about you from the Jews, nor arriving has any one of the brothers reported or spoken anything evil about you.

For our glorying is this, the testimony of our conscience, that we had our conduct in the world in simplicity and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, and especially toward you.
