But we sailed along after the days of Unleavened Bread from Philippi, and came to them at Troas within five days, where we stayed seven days.

You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I have commanded you, at the set time of the month of Abib. For in it you came out from Egypt, and they shall not appear before Me empty.

and from there into Philippi, which is the first city of that part of Macedonia, a colony. And we were in this city, spending some days.

And passing by Mysia, they came down into Troas.

For Paul had decided to sail by Ephesus, so as it might not happen to him to spend time in Asia; for he hastened if it were possible for him to be into Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost.

These men having gone ahead awaited us in Troas.

And having found disciples, we remained there seven days; who told Paul through the Spirit not to go up to Jerusalem.

And on the next day, the ones around Paul going out, we came to Caesarea. And going into Philip the evangelist’s house, he being of the Seven, we remained with him.

where finding brothers, we were entreated by them to remain seven days. And so we went toward Rome.

Paul and Timothy, slaves of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, with the overseers and deacons:

But also suffering before and being insolently mistreated, even as you know in Phiippi, we were bold in our God to speak the gospel of God to you in much struggle.

When you come, bring the cloak which I left in Troas with Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments.
