The Spirit of Jehovah has spoken by me, and His Word is on my tongue.

For with stammering lip and another tongue, He will speak to this people;

As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says Jehovah: My Spirit who is on You, and My words which I have put in Your mouth, shall not depart out of Your mouth, or out of the mouth of Your seed, or out of the mouth of Your seed’s seed, from now and till forever, says Jehovah.

And I am full of the fury of Jehovah; I am weary with holding in. Pour it out on the child in the street and on the circle of the young men together. For even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the elder with fullness of days.

And go! Come to the exiles, to the sons of your people, and speak to them, and say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah, whether they will hear, or whether they will stop.

But by the Spirit of Jehovah I am full of power and justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression, and his sin to Israel.

But when they give you over, do not be anxious how or what you should say, for it is given to you in that hour what you should say.

And miraculous signs will follow to those believing these things: they will cast out demons in My name; they will speak new languages;

For he shall be great in the eyes of the Lord, and he shall not drink wine or strong drink. And he will be filled of the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb.

And it happened, as Elizabeth heard Mariam’s (Mary’s) greeting, the babe in her womb leaped, and Elizabeth was filled of the Holy Spirit.

And his father Zacharias was filled of the Holy Spirit and prophesied, saying,

for the Holy Spirit will teach you in the same hour what you must say.

Not is able anyone to forbid the water that these not be baptized, who the Holy Spirit received, even as we also?

And in my beginning to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, as also on us in the beginning.

For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a considerable crowd was added to the Lord.

And the disciples were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit.

But Saul, the one also is Paul, being filled with the Holy Spirit, and looking intently on him,

And God, the knower of hearts, testified to them, giving them the Holy Spirit, even as also to us.

And Paul laying hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in languages and prophesied.

Cretans and Arabians; in our own languages we hear them speaking the great deeds of God?

And Ananias went away and entered into the house. And putting hands on him he said, Brother Saul, the Lord has sent me, Jesus, the One who appeared to you in the way which you came, that you may see again and be filled of the Holy Spirit.

And may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, for you to abound in hope, in power of the Holy Spirit.

and to another; workings of powers; and to another, prophecy; and to another, discerning of spirits; and to another, kinds of languages; and to another, interpretation of languages.

If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become as sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

Love never fails. But if there are prophecies, they will be caused to cease; if tongues, they shall cease; if knowledge, it will be caused to cease.

I thank my God that I speak more languages than all of you.

And I wish all of you to speak in languages, but rather that you may prophesy. For the one prophesying is greater than the one speaking in languages, if not he interpret, that the assembly may receive building up.

and to know the surpassing knowledge and love of Christ, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God.

And “do not be drunk with wine,” in which is debauchery, but be filled by the Spirit, Prov. 23:31

through all prayer and petition, praying at all seasons in the Spirit, and being alert to this same end, with all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints.

To whom it was revealed that not to themselves, but to us they ministered the same things, which now were proclaimed to you through the ones having preached the gospel to you in the Holy Spirit having been sent from Heaven; into which things angels long to look into.

for prophecy was not at any time borne by the will of man, but being borne along by the Holy Spirit, holy men of God spoke.

And Eli said to her, Until when will you be drunken? Put away your wine from you.

And they came there to the hill. And behold! A band of prophets were there to meet him. And the Spirit of God pushed on him, and he prophesied in their midst.
