this Ezra went up from Babylon. And he was a skilled scribe in the Law of Moses, which Jehovah the God of Israel had given. And the king granted him all he asked, according to the hand of Jehovah his God on him.
And Moses said to Jehovah, O Lord, I am not a man of words, either from yesterday or the third day, or since You have been speaking to Your bondslave. For I am heavy of mouth and heavy of tongue.
And He said to them, Because of this, every scribe schooled to the kingdom of Heaven is like a man, a master of a house, who puts forth out of his treasure new and old.
And He said to them, What things? And they said to Him, The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who was a man, a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people;
but bid farewell to them, saying, I must by all means to make the coming feast, the one at Jerusalem; but I will come again to you, God willing. And he set sail from Ephesus.
But some of the ones of the synagogue being called of the Libertines, rose up, also some Cyrenians and Alexandrians, and some of the ones from Cilicia and Asia Minor, disputing with Stephen.
And about the brother Apollos, I much urged him that he come to you with the brothers, but it was not at all his will that he come now. But he will come when he his opportunity.
And, brothers, I transferred these things to myself and Apollos because of you, that in us you may learn not to think above what is written, that you not be puffed up one against the other.
Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
