And Judas and Silas, themselves also being prophets, exhorted the brothers through much speech, and confirmed them.

And I, in the first year of Darius the Mede, I was standing for one who strengthens, and for a stronghold for him.

Because of this, behold, I send to you prophets and wise ones and scribes. And some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and will persecute from city to city;

And because of this, the wisdom of God said, I will send prophets and apostles to them, and they will kill and drive out some of them,

who having come, and seeing the grace of God, rejoiced. And he exhorted all with purpose of heart to abide near the Lord.

And in these days prophets came down from Jerusalem into Antioch.

And in Antioch some among the existing assembly were prophets and teachers: both Barnabas and Simeon, the one being called Niger, and Lucius the Cyrenian, and Manaen, brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting to continue in the faith, and that through many afflictions we must enter into the kingdom of God.

And some, coming down from Judea, were teaching the brothers, saying, If you are not circumcised in the custom of Moses, you are not able to be saved.

Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with all the assembly, to send men being chosen from them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas, Judas, the one being called Barsabas, and Silas, men leading among the the brothers,

Therefore, we have sent Judas and Silas, they by word also announcing the same things.

Therefore, indeed, being sent forward by the assembly they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, relating in detail the conversion of the nations. And they caused great joy among all the brothers.

And reading it, they rejoiced at the comfort.

and he went through Syria and Cilicia, making the assemblies strong.

And spending some time, he went out, in order passing through the Galatian region and Phrygia, making strong all the disciples.

And with many other words he earnestly testified and exhorted, saying, Be saved from this perverse generation.

And passing through those parts, and exhorting them with much speech, he came into Greece.

but having differing gifts according to the grace given to us, whether prophecy, according to the proportion of the faith;

or the one exhorting, in the encouragement; the one sharing, in simplicity; the one leading, in diligence; the one showing mercy, in cheerfulness.

who also will confirm you until the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And if there are two or three prophets, let them speak, and let the others judge.

But the one prophesying to men speaks for building up, and encouragement, and comfort.

And the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets.

which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations, as now it was revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit,

even as you know each one of you how, as a father to his children, exhorting and consoling you,

and sent Timothy, our brother and servant of God, and our fellow worker in the gospel of Christ to be the one to establish you and to encourage you concerning your faith,

For the rest then, brothers, we beg you and we exhort in the Lord Jesus, even as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you abound more.

And we exhort you, brothers, to admonish the disobedient ones, comfort the ones being faint-hearted, sustain the ones being weak, be long-suffering towards all.

And we command to such ones, and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ that, working with quietness, they may eat their own bread.

First of all therefore, I exhort that petitions, prayers, supplications, and thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men,

preach the Word, stand by seasonably, unseasonably, convict, warn, encourage with all long-suffering and teaching.

I exhort the elders among you, I being a fellow-elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and being sharer of the glory about to be revealed:

Now the God of all grace, the One having called you to His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, you having suffered a little, Himself will perfect, confirm, strengthen, establish you.

I wrote to you by a few words by way of Silvanus the faithful brother, as I reckon, exhorting and witnessing this to be the true grace of God, in which you stand.
