To hold back from idol sacrifices, and from blood, and from the strangled thing, and from fornication; from which carefully keeping yourselves, you will do well. Farewell.

But you shall not eat flesh in its life, its blood.

For it is the life of all flesh; its blood is for its life. And I say to the sons of Israel, You shall not eat blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is in the blood; anyone eating it is cut off.

And also another said, I will follow You, Lord, but first allow me to take leave of the ones in my house.

but to write to them to hold back from the pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from the strangled thing, and blood.

For the rest, brothers, rejoice! Perfect yourselves; encourage yourselves, think the same thing, be at peace; and the God of love and of peace will be with you.

Only, you shall not eat the blood; you shall pour it as water on the earth.

Lay hands quickly on no one, nor share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.

Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their afflictions, and to keep oneself without blemish from the world.

Little children, guard yourselves from idles. Amen.

Now to Him being able to keep you without stumbling, and to set you before His glory without blemish, with exultation;
