And a certain man was sitting in Lystra, powerless in the feet, being lame from his mother’s womb, who had never walked.

The one being infirm answered Him, Lord, I do not have a man, that when the water is agitated he may throw me into the pool; but while I am coming, another goes down before me.

And having preached the gospel to that city, and having made considerable disciples, they returned to Lystra and Iconium and Antioch,

perceiving it all, they fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra and Derbe, and the region around.

And he arrived in Derbe and Lystra. And behold, a certain disciple by name Timothy was there, the son of a certain believing Jewish woman, but his father was a Greek.

And a certain man, being lame from his mother’s womb, was being carried, whom they put according to a day at the door of the temple, the one being called Beautiful, to ask merciful gifts from the ones going into the temple;

if we are being examined today on a good work of an infirm man, by what this one has been healed,

persecutions, sufferings, such as happened to me in Antioch, in Iconium, in Lystra, what persecutions I bore. And the Lord delivered me out of all.
