But Jews came there from Antioch and Iconium, and having persuaded the crowds, and having stoned Paul, they dragged him outside the city, supposing him to have died.

He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, drawn beyond the gates of Jerusalem and thrown out.

But going through from Perga, they came to Antioch-Pisidia, and going into the synagogue on the day of the sabbaths, they sat down.

And the Jews seeing the crowds, they were filled with jealousy, and contradicted the things being spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

And it happened in Iconium, according to the same they entered into the synagogue of the Jews, and spoke thus, so that a large multitude of both Jews and Greeks came to believe.

And saying these things, they hardly settled down the crowds, that they not sacrifice to them.

But the unbelieving Jews excited and embittered the souls of the nations against the brothers.

And having preached the gospel to that city, and having made considerable disciples, they returned to Lystra and Iconium and Antioch,

and from there they sailed away to Antioch, from where they were being given over to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.

But the multitude of the city was divided; and the ones were with the Jews, but the other ones with the apostles.

And when a rush of the nations occurred, and both the Jews with their rulers came to treat shamefully and to stone them,

men who have given over their souls on behalf of the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

But when the Jews from Thessalonica knew that the Word of God was also proclaimed in Berea by Paul, they came there also, shaking up the crowds.

And when the blood of Your witness Stephen was poured out, I myself also was standing by and consenting to the murder of him, and guarding the garments of the ones killing him.

And throwing him outside the city, they stoned him. And the witnesses put off their garments at the feet of a young man called Saul.

For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of My name.

According to a day I die, by your boasting, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as beside myself) I being beyond them: in labors, more abundantly; in stripes, beyond measure; in prisons, much more; in deaths, many times.

I was beaten with a rod three times; I was stoned once; I was shipwrecked three times; I have spent a night and a day in the deep.

I have been in travels many times, in dangers of rivers, in dangers of robbers, in dangers from my race, in dangers from the nations, in dangers in the city, in dangers in a wild place, in dangers in the sea, in dangers among false brothers,

For, brothers, you became imitators of the assemblies of God, the ones being in Judea in Christ Jesus, because you also suffered these things by your own fellow countrymen, as they did also by the Jews,

persecutions, sufferings, such as happened to me in Antioch, in Iconium, in Lystra, what persecutions I bore. And the Lord delivered me out of all.
