Then, having fasted and prayed, and placing hands on them, they let them go.

And he laid his hands on him, and gave him a charge, even as Jehovah commanded by the hand of Moses.

and she was a widow of eighty four years, who did not depart from the temple, serving night and day with fastings and prayers.

And having hand-picked elders for them in every assembly, having prayed with fastings, they committed them to the Lord into whom they had believed.

and from there they sailed away to Antioch, from where they were being given over to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.

But choosing Silas, Paul went out, being given over to the grace of God by the brothers,

each of whom they made stand before the apostles. And having prayed, they placed their hands on them,

And Ananias went away and entered into the house. And putting hands on him he said, Brother Saul, the Lord has sent me, Jesus, the One who appeared to you in the way which you came, that you may see again and be filled of the Holy Spirit.

And how may they preach if they are not sent? Even as it is written, “How beautiful” “the feet of the ones preaching the gospel of peace, of the ones preaching the gospel of good things.” Isa. 52:7

Do not neglect the gift in you, which was given to you through prophecy, with laying on of the hands of the elderhood.

Lay hands quickly on no one, nor share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.

For which cause I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

And what things you heard from me through many witnesses, commit these things to faithful men, such as will be competent also to teach others.

who in love bore witness of you before the assembly, whom you will do well to send forward worthily of God.

Therefore, we ought to entertain such men, that we may become co-workers with the truth.
