And after the reading of the Law, and of the Prophets, the synagogue rulers sent to them, saying, Men, brothers, if there is a word of exhortation to the people, speak.

And, brothers, I exhort you, bear with the word of exhortation, for I indeed wrote to you by a few words.

For in according to a city from ancient generations Moses has the ones proclaiming him, being read in the synagogues according to every sabbath.

And, behold, one of the synagogue rulers ,Jairus by name, comes; and seeing Him, he falls at His feet.

But the one prophesying to men speaks for building up, and encouragement, and comfort.

or the one exhorting, in the encouragement; the one sharing, in simplicity; the one leading, in diligence; the one showing mercy, in cheerfulness.

Men, brothers, it is permitted to say to you with boldness concerning the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is among us until this day.

And they were all filled of the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave to them to speak.

Men, brothers, it was necessary for this Scripture to be fulfilled which the Holy Spirit spoke before through David’s mouth concerning Judas, the one having become guide to the ones seizing Jesus;

The Law and the Prophets were until John; from then the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is entering into it by force.

And Joses, the one being named Barnabas by the apostles, which being translated is, Son of Consolation, a Levite, a Cypriot by nation,

But their thoughts were hardened, for until this very day the same veil remains on the reading of the Old Covenant, not being unveiled, that it is being done away in Christ.

For our exhortation was not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile;
