But the centurion and those with him guarding Jesus, seeing the earthquake and the things taking place, they feared exceedingly, saying, Truly this One was Son of God.

And all bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious words coming out of His mouth. And they said, Is this not the son of Joseph?

And fear took hold of all; and they glorified God, saying, A great prophet has risen up among us; and, God has visited His people.

The officers answered, Never did a man so speak as does this man.

So with might, the Word of the Lord was growing and was strong.

If then, indeed, Demetrius and the craftsmen with him have a matter against anyone, the courts lead, and there are proconsuls. Let them accuse one another.

And all the men were about twelve.

And in the parts about that place were pieces of land to the first man of the island, Publius by name. Welcoming us, he hosted us three days in a friendly way.

And they had no strength to stand against the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke.

Then indeed having earnestly testified and having spoken the Word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, even having preached the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.
