And searching for him, and not finding him, examining the guards, Herod commanded them to be led away. And going down from Judea to Caesarea, he spent time there.

And the king of Israel went to his house sullen and angry, and came to Samaria.

And Mordecai came again to the king’s gate, but Haman hurried to his house mourning, and his head covered.

whom capturing him also, he put him into prison, giving him over to four sets of four soldiers to guard him, intending to bring him up to the people after the Passover.

But when Herod was about to bring him out, in that night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, having been bound with two chains, also guards were before the door keeping the prison.

And becoming awake, and seeing the doors of the prison being opened, drawing a sword, the prison-keeper was about to kill himself, supposing the prisoners to have escaped.

And on the next day, the ones around Paul going out, we came to Caesarea. And going into Philip the evangelist’s house, he being of the Seven, we remained with him.

And some days having passed, Agrippa the king and Bernice arrived at Caesarea, greeting Festus.

And the mind of the soldiers was that they should kill the prisoners, lest any swimming out should escape.

And Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through he preached the gospel to all the cities until his coming to Caesarea.

And David was dwelling in the wilderness, in the strongholds. And he was dwelling in the hill, in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him all his days. And God did not give him into his hand.
