And finding him, he brought him to Antioch. And it happened that for them to be assembled to them in the assembly a whole year. And they taught a considerable crowd. And the disciples were first called Christians at Antioch.

confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting to continue in the faith, and that through many afflictions we must enter into the kingdom of God.

And having hand-picked elders for them in every assembly, having prayed with fastings, they committed them to the Lord into whom they had believed.

And arriving, and gathering the assembly, they reported as many things God did with them and that He opened a door of faith to the nations.

And they remained there not a little time with the disciples.

And he having intended to go through into Achaia, having been encouraged, the brothers wrote to the disciples to welcome him; who, arriving, helped much the ones who were believing through grace.

But when some were hardened, and did not obey, speaking evil of the Way before the multitude, going away from them, he separated the disciples, conversing according to a day in the school of a certain Tyrannus.

And after the ceasing of the tumult, calling and greeting the disciples, Paul went away to go into Macedonia.

and out of you yourselves will rise up men speaking perverting things in order to draw away the disciples after themselves.

And having found disciples, we remained there seven days; who told Paul through the Spirit not to go up to Jerusalem.

And Agrippa said to Paul, In but a little do you persuade me to become a Christian!

But in those days, the disciples having multiplied, a murmuring of the Hellenists toward the Hebrews occurred, because their widows were being overlooked in the daily serving.

And the saying was pleasing before all the multitude. And they chose out Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch,

And taking food he was strengthened. And Saul was with the disciples in Damascus some days.

And Lydda being near to Joppa, the disciples hearing that Peter is in it, they sent two men to him, entreating him not to delay to come to them.

Indeed, first, I hear divisions to be among you when you come together in the assembly. And I believe it in some part.

Even as the body is one, and has many members, but all the members of the one body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.

Then if the whole assembly comes together, and all speak in foreign languages, and uninstructed or faithless ones come in, will they not say that you rave?

Because of this I sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved child, and faithful in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, even as I teach everywhere in every assembly.

of whom every family in Heaven and on earth is named,

Do they not blaspheme the good Name, the one being called on you?

If you are reviled in the name of Christ, you are blessed, because “the Spirit of God and of glory rests on you.” Truly, according to them, He is blasphemed; but according to you, He is glorified. Isa. 11:2

But if one suffers as a Christian, do not let him be shamed, but glorify God in this respect.

And the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone teach you, but the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and as He taught you, abide in Him.

I advise you to buy from Me gold having been fired by fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, and your shame and nakedness may not appear. And anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
