And it shall be in that day, the Root of Jesse is it that stands as a banner of peoples; nations shall seek to Him; and His resting place shall be glory.
I, Jehovah, have called You in righteousness, and will hold up Your hand, and will keep You, and give You for a covenant of the people, for a Light of the nations;
And He said, It is but trifling that You should be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the ones preserved of Israel; I will also give You for a light of the nations, that You may be My salvation to the end of the earth.
O Jehovah, my strength and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the nations shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, Our fathers have inherited only lies, vanity, and there is no profit in them.
And I will sow her to Me in the earth. And I will have mercy on No Mercy. And I will say to Not My People, You are My People! And he shall say, My God! (Rom. 2:24)
And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples as dew from Jehovah, as showers on a blade of grass, which does not wait for man, and not delay for the sons of men.
Jehovah will be frightening to them, for He will make lean all the gods of the earth; each man from his place, and all the isles of the nations will bow to Him.
And many nations shall be joined to Jehovah in that day, and they shall be to Me for a people. And I will dwell in your midst; and you shall know that Jehovah of Hosts has sent Me to you.
For from the rising of the sun until its going in, My name shall be great among the nations, and every place where incense shall be offered to My name; and a pure food offering; for My name shall be great among the nations, says Jehovah of Hosts.
Therefore, indeed, being sent forward by the assembly they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, relating in detail the conversion of the nations. And they caused great joy among all the brothers.
And the brothers from there hearing the things about us, they came out for a meeting with us, as far as Forum of Appius, and Three Taverns; whom Paul seeing, thanking God, he took courage.
