For I have known him, so that whatever he may command his sons and his house after him, even they may keep the way of Jehovah, to do righteousness and justice; to the intent that Jehovah may bring on Abraham that which He has spoken of him.

You hear in Heaven, Your dwelling-place, and shall do according to all that the stranger calls to You for, so that all the peoples of the earth may know Your name, to fear You like Your people Israel, and to know that Your name has been called on this house which I have built.

then You shall hear from Heaven, from Your dwelling place, and shall do according to all that the foreigner calls to You; so that all the people of the earth shall know Your name, so as to fear You, as Your people Israel, and to know that Your name is called on this house that I have built.

There was a man in the land of Uz, his name was Job. And this man was perfect and upright, and fearing God, and turning away from evil.

And it happened, when the day of feasting had gone around, Job would send and sanctify them. And he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt sacrifices according to all their number. For Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. This Job did all the days.

So nations shall fear the name of Jehovah, and all the kings of the earth Your glory.

Blessed are those keeping His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart.

lead me in Your truth and teach me; for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day long.

And when he drew near to the den, he cried with a grieved voice to Daniel. The king answered and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, your God whom you serve constantly, is He able to deliver you from the lions?

A decree was given from before me that in all the domain of my kingdom there shall be trembling and fear before the God of Daniel. For He is the living God and endures forever, and His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed. And His dominion shall be to the end.

In the same way, the one with the two also did; he also gained another two.

And He also spoke a parable to them to teach that it is always necessary to pray, and not to be wearied

And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. And this man was righteous and devout, eagerly expecting the Consolation of Israel. And the Holy Spirit was upon him.

And the ones said, Cornelius, a centurion, a just man and one fearing God, and being testified to by all the nation of the Jews, was divinely warned by a holy angel to call you to his house and to hear words from you.

And he said, Cornelius, your prayer was heard and your merciful deeds were remembered before God.

but in every nation the one fearing Him and working righteousness is acceptable to Him.

And he was staring at him, and becoming terrified he said, What is it, Lord? And he said to him, Your prayers and your merciful deeds went up for a memorial before God.

And went away the angel, the one speaking to Cornelius, who calling two of his servants and a devout soldier of the ones continually waiting on him,

who will speak words to you by which you and all your household will be saved.

And rising up, and signaling with his hand, Paul said, Men, Israelites, and the ones fearing God, hear.

Men, brothers, sons of the race of Abraham, and the ones among you fearing God, to you the Word of this salvation was sent.

But the Jews incited the devout and honorable women, and the first ones of the city, and raised up a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and threw them out from their borders.

And Crispus, the synagogue ruler, was believing the Lord along with all his household. And hearing, many of the Corinthians were believing and were being baptized.

Now there were Jews dwelling in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation of the ones under the heaven.

And a certain Ananias, a devout man according to the Law, being testified to by all the Jews living there,

But devout men together carried Stephen and made great lamentation over him.

And the Lord said to him, Rising up go along on the street, the one being called Straight, and seek a Tarsian, Saul by name, in the house of Judas. For, behold, he is praying.

Then, indeed, the assemblies throughout all Judea, and Galilee, and Samaria, had peace, being built up and going on in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, were multiplying.

And in Joppa was a certain disciple Tabitha by name, which translated is called Dorcas (Gazelle). She was full of good works and of merciful deeds which she did.

Steadfastly continue in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving,

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask from God, the One giving to all bountifully and not reproaching, and it will be given to Him.

And if it seems evil in your eyes to serve Jehovah, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve, whether the gods whom your fathers served Beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living. But as for me and my house, we will serve Jehovah.

Who will not fear You, Lord, and not glorify Your name, not any? For You only are holy. For all the nations will come and will worship before You, because Your righteous deeds were made known.
