For the wicked one boasts of his soul’s desire, and he has blessed the covetous; scorning Jehovah.

Those who trust in their wealth and in their many riches boast themselves.

a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

Shall the axe glorify itself over him chopping with it? Or shall the saw magnify itself over him moving it? As if a rod could wave those who lift it. As if a staff could raise what is not wood!

And the king shall do according to his will. And he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god; he shall even speak marvelous things against the God of gods and shall prosper until the fury is finished. For that which is decreed shall be done.

And he shall speak words against the Most High, and he shall wear out the holy ones of the Most High. And he intends to change times and law. And they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and one half time.

and he does not honor his father or his mother, not at all. And you nullified the command of God on account of your tradition.

And He said to them, Beware, and be on guard from covetousness; for one’s life is not in the abundance of the things belonging of him.

And being lovers of money, the Pharisees also heard all these things; and they derided Him.

But love the ones hostile to you, and do good, and lend, causing no one to despair, and your reward will be much; and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind to the unthankful and evil ones.

For the love of money is a root of all evils, by means of which some stretching toward it were led astray from the faith, and they themselves pierced through by many pains.

he has been puffed up, understanding nothing, but is sick concerning questions and disputes, out of which comes envy, strife, evil-speakings, evil suspicions,

betrayers, reckless, being puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

If you truly fulfill the royal Law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well. Lev. 19:18

but now you boast in your presumptions. All such boasting is evil.

But He gives greater grace. Because of this it says, “God sets Himself against proud ones, but He gives grace to humble ones.” Prov. 3:34

Likewise, younger ones be subject to older ones; and all being subject to one another. gird on humility, because God sets Himself “against proud ones, but He gives grace to humble ones”. Prov. 3:34

and most of all the ones going after flesh in the lust of defilement, and despising rulership, darers, self-pleasing; they do not tremble at glories, blaspheming;

But these as unreasoning natural beasts, having been born for capture and corruption, blaspheming in that of which they are ignorant, they shall utterly perish in their corruption,

For speaking great swollen-over words of vanity, by the lusts of the flesh, by unbridled lusts, they allure the ones indeed escaping, the ones walking in error,

And by covetousness, with feigned words, they will use you for gain, for whom judgment of old does not linger, and their destruction does not slumber.

These are murmurers, complainers, walking according to their lusts, and their mouth speaks over swollen words, admiring faces for the sake of gain.

And I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten diadems, and on its heads names of blasphemy.

And they blasphemed the God of Heaven, from their pains and from their sores. And they did not repent of their works.

And a great hail, as the size of a talent, came down out of the heaven upon men. And men blasphemed God from the plague of the hail, because its plague is exceedingly great.

And men were burned with great heat. And they blasphemed the name of God, the One having authority over these plagues, and they did not repent to give Him glory.
